This temple is the biggest in Bagan(1163 A D) and the finest of brick-work because even the needle cannot push between two bricks.The king wanted his temple without any gap between two bricks.The architectural is very good and famous also interesting story.

A different looking temple, very well maintained. Wonderful to circumambulate. We went in the morning and there was no crowd. Please note best views of the temple are from the monastery behind it. Very good views of the old town area from there as well....More
