Terrific opportunity to watch nearly every step of silk weaving, and lotus silk production. "Venice" of Myanmar, as all access is by boat and there are no sidewalks in the village (but several bridges).

We reached this village by long tail boat and visited the weaving and textile production places here. Interesting on how these people function so well without electricity and the machines they have developed to do their work. Very friendly and hard working people.
