A rather disappointing 'watch tower,' the only remaining section of the royal palace. Supposedly there is a good view from the top, but climbing it has been forbidden since the 2013 earthquake rendered it unsafe.

It’s the favorite place to visit when you are going to Ava. It’s an experience of life for people never ridden a cart. People are friendly. Though Ava is small city but it’s full with warm. You will have a good memory in Mandalay.

2 minutes are more then enough and it can easily be skipped. It is not allowed to climb up anymore and it's just a tower

We just wanted a peek, when we arrived there, because it wasn't that great. We cycled to the tower and that was more interesting.

Visited the watch tower as part of a horse and cart ride. The tower itself is not really worth a visit but the ride in is interesting!

All is in your imagination because everything is destroyed and for security reason you cannot climb up... Not interesting if you are not passionate by ruins.

Well, it is a standard part of every tour, so you will end up here automatically. But the tower itself is not that spectacular. The street sellers everywhere get quite annoying after a while. So 5 minutes there is enough just for some pictures. It...More

Once , it was used to be called as " leaning Tower of Innwa " because of an earthquake in 1838 tilted it to one side . But right now the tower has been renovated and straightened out already . Nobody can't go to upstairs...More

Best part about this was the horse and cart ride out here, which was a real experience and we loved it. The tower itself was interesting but we could only see it from the outside as it was under repair at the time. Still worth...More

Once part of a larger building, this is one of 2 stone structures that survive from when this was the capital of the Kingdom of Burma. Some distance from Mandalay, the tower is surrounded by rice fields and banana plantations.
