There is not much left to see of the church. But it is nice to sit on the stair facing the ruins and see the light change as the sun goes down. Much of the columns on one side is still standing. The site is...More

Some of the bigger ruins in the town. Hard to miss anyway, as its just in the middle. It should be an obligatory stop on your walking tour around town.

Enter Nessebar from the main entrance near bus stop, contniue walking straight but keeping to the left and you will come to this delightful church. Its a ruin but shows how big this church is compared to others you will pass in getting there.

This was a nice structure to visit and get away from the beach. It is a good example of Roman arches in a building and that they are still standing after more than 1500 years, is a testament to their know-how

This is in the centre of Old Nessebar. Great photo location. Actually witnessed it being used for a wedding. Nessebar has some great ruins and couches, makes a great contrast with Sunny Beach .

Very historical. A beautifully structured building in a wonderful place. Take time to appreciate the architectural brilliance. Photos don't do it justice. A lovely serene place to visit.
