The church is almost in the center of the old town in Nessebar. Certainly a place worth visiting. The church is quite small yet charming. Further, it offers a contrast to what Sunny beach and Nessebar has to offer. It adds to the cultural and...More

We went into this church for a few minutes as we were walking past. It's a lovely place, which is still used by worshippers today. A fascinating piece of history, even though it's the most modern one in old Nessebar. One tip - remember to...More

A XIX century church wich is looking different and even modern among the ancient ruins of old Nessebar. So it's not so exciting to see it.

Nice to see a real, working, Orthodox church when most have changed into museums. There is a shop selling icons , and beads, holy water etc. Dark inside, and no photography, as this could upset the worshippers. Interesting Nativity outside don't miss it.

This is a spectacular church and well worth a visit. The carvings and plaques are great and you will find the full history noted around the place. Happened on this church by accident and what a treat to the eye it is. Stunning

Lovely place to view and thoroughly enjoy pottering around places like this. You can buy, very cheaply, candles to light in memory of loved ones and I love that you can buy a bottle of Holy Water! I assume it's just drinking water but we...More

If you want history, this is the place to see, there are plaques everywhere to tell you the story. The whole of Nessebar is a historical treasure garden
