it's in the middle of the Nessebar city in bulgaria that has a history with other buildings of this place

This stands guard as you enter the old town. No idea why it’s there or what it’s for, so could do with more information on hand perhaps? Very impressive, very imposing and worth spending 15 minutes waking around and taking photos.

This statue looked nice but we only got a glimpse of it when we passed by it in a bus. The Nessebar old city takes many hours to cover so maybe next time.

Visible to all as you go into Old Nessabar if on foot. If travelling by car or taxi it is not far to go to see this statue.

When you travel to Nessebar, you cannot fail to miss this statue. It is modern yet in keeping with this cultural centre. It's great to get pictures of various aspects of Nessebar....and usually it will be in the background somewhere.

You see this statue on the approach to,the old town...seems the cormorants like to dry out on top of it !

I'm not sure how you can review a statue but I will say that it overlooks the water. It's just off the bridge that connects Nessebar with Old Nessebar. It's a good place to take some photo's and does look very striking.

Outside statue mainy inhibited by water fowl, seaguls and other flying aviaty as they persch on the statue. Good photo op but gone in a flash!

This monument is welcoming visitors at the old Nessebar gates, depicting St. Nicholas, who defends the sailor merchants and others. Admirable statue, a real landmark.
