Ubatuba is a great seaside town with great restaurants, shopping, hotels and beaches. There are actually several beaches that are worth visiting.

Beautiful huge beach great to walk or run for exercise. Then brought my own mat to sit and enjoy a beer. Vendors were polite but present. My only complaint would be lack of shade so you might want to rent an umbrella or bring ne with you. Water and beach seems quite clean lots of people in the ocean enjoying... More

The Praia Grande beach is always crowded, no matter it is high season, or not. If you like crowded beaches, this is your place. But, if you prefer more privacy, there are several beaches options in Ubatuba.

Too many vendors and muddy sand. The sea is great for families though( and boring to death for surfers)

If you dont like a very crowded beach, then dont come here. Its high season and there is a bunch of people. I enjoyed my time at this beach. It is clean and has a lot of kioks. Also, there are a lot of options: restaurants, food trucks, ice cream and even a super market if you want to buy... More

The name says it's all - it's a very big beach, it's wide and the water is shallow, so the waves keeps running for hundreds of feet. It makes it really safe and fun to play with the waves (but bad for swimming). The beach is well developed with a lot of parking, restrooms, showers, food vendors etc. On a... More

I just passed by this beach without stopping by. The reason was that it was too crowded and there seemed not an inch of space available to get seated and relax on the beach. It's better to miss this beach and go over to some nearby beaches which are not too crowded.

That is a nice beach in Ubatuba, however you should be prepared for being with a plenty of another tourists. For taking rest is not the best option, but this is one of the most famous beaches of Ubatuba. Eat a pastel too and enjoy the best spare time activities of Brazilians.

It was perfect for us. The weather was beautiful, we were able to rent chairs for R$10 for all day (for 2). The hotel provided towels and an umbrella. We enjoyed watching the surfers and just lounging. There are a lot of vendors walking the beach, but they were respectful of "No, thank you". The beach in July was comfortably... More
