The zoo is small and located somehow outskirts of the city. There are just a few animals but still, s lot of empty cages. Few areas like crocodile and monkeys seemed that need to improve the facilities. Anyway, for a easy and quick visit to...More

Nice zoo, with many species. Animal livers will stil think it is rather small for large amimals, but they are “well taken care of”. Sorocaba is the third largest city in the interior of the state of São Paulo, with 650,000 inhabitants, many industries amd...More

This place is surprisingly well conserved. The zoo crew makes a really good job in keeping the place tidy (which is an exception for Brazilian public places). Very good for family trips and small children.

The entry was for free. It is a nice place to go with young children, but may be boring to the older ones. The top attractions were the elephant and hippopotamus. Some cages were empty with no information about maintenance. Lots of trees, a nice...More

The zoo is nicely done with a lot of brazilian and some exotic animals. There are almost as many animals outside as behind bars. Just thought the cages for the big cats were very small.

Great place, many differents kinds of animals, an organized place with restaurant, cafe, restrooms, ice cream, water. You have to use sneakers because it's a big place and has a lot of ways to walk.

Nice place to go with kids. Has a good variety of species, nice streets up and down to go with the children. Very, very cheap entrance tickets.

Good way to spend the afternoon with children. The bird section was great, with many types of tropical birds. Big cats looked sad. Zoo not so well maintained, it smelled.

This is a small, but really well kept zoo. Many animals species. There are trees everywhere and a lake. The snack bar there is terrible and expensive. Take your own food. But the zoo is great!
