About
The Temple of Solomon, which the Eternal One saw as His own house, was a link between man and the Lord God, a place where a chosen people would worship the Lord wholeheartedly. No other building on earth has ever held more importance than this, specifically because of its spiritual meaning. While lifting up and exalting the name of the Most High among all nations, the Temple also ignited faith in God's people, creating awareness of submission, respect for what was holy, and fear. Through this, all began to acknowledge the greatness of the God of Israel. Today, the Temple of Solomon in Sao Paulo aspires to the same goals as the previous one. Awaken people's Faith in the Living God. The Temple embraces people of many beliefs and cultures, to attend the meetings you must follow a rule list of security and behavior. Also the Temple has a guided tour available every hour, this visitation requires a fee of $ 25 BRL and it's available from 9am until 6pm. You'll have access to the Biblical Garden (Real Size replica of the Tabernacle of Moses, Memorial of the Temples in Jerusalem and the Centenary Olive Tree Garden). Please, book your visit for the guided tour via email.

I had read reviews of the Temple of Solomon recreation in Sao Paulo and was uncertain if it was worth a visit, but I decided to give it a try.
While it is not too far out, my hotel recommended a taxi ride due to safety so that is what I did. I arrived with no problem to be blown away by the huge size of the building--apparently it is two times the size of the biblical temple of Solomon, but it looks on the outside exactly like what I would have pictured, right down to the columns. I walked around outside (I had not managed to schedule a tour of the gardens) and admired the building and the grounds, but it was raining, so I then went inside. Hint: the entry to the temple is actually underground and reached by stairs located near Ave Celso Garcia, not from up by the building). Once you are downstairs there is a place to check cellphones, backpacks, and cameras (not allowed inside). Then you go up the stairs to the main level (which is actually behind the great doors you see in front) where you can enter inside.
Sadly, I was disappointed by the inside. I expected more of a recreation of the Temple, but what I found was a huge worship center with seats for 10,000 people, large Menorah lights on the wall, a big projection system, and big screen TVs. Worship was in session and I stayed for a while, but with poor portugues language, I could not keep up with the words spoken. The participants appeared to enjoy the worship.
If you are interested in the architecture, visit the outside and skip the inside. If you are more interested in the worship, by all means go inside.

Very beautiful place, terrible service, they treat visitors like outsiders, searching people, withholding cell phones and bags, slow entry, it's easier to get into a funk dance than this church. I complained and they argued that they welcome all kinds of people and I said that I always go to overcrowded Catholic churches at parties and I have never had my cell phone taken away or people searched. On the day I went, less than 200 people entered a place that holds more than 9 thousand people and I had this terrible experience.

This is a supposedly holy place recently built by televangelists benefiting from tax exemption laws. The structure was purposefully built on a very poor area in need of investments to get land on the cheap, and nothing or very little has been done by the administration of the place to help that population, as can easily and plainly be observed by just looking around it. This is a costly scam, not a tourist attraction of any sort.

Let's begin by saying that I'm not religious - much less an evangelical protestant. However, we heard about this place, and decided to see what it was all about. It was strange, for a lack of a better term. The structure which appeared to be quite formidable from pictures, was rather lifeless and without a style seeing it in person. It was also weird that a religious building had security guards determining who was welcome inside and who wasn't - the criteria wasn't clear. In addition to that, it felt sad to see such a wasteful structure sitting right in the middle of a very poor and depressed neighborhood.

In the middle of a poor neighborhood is this monster of excess. We drove around it and that was more than I wanted to see. Very sad - a religious palace amid a sea of poverty. The "temple" offered tours for a fee but, I preferred to give my money to someone outside this strange disturbing place.

The place is not located in a good area and it is just an empty facade. It does not worth the time. It is better to go to the Bras area and do some shopping

The first thing that I noticed when arriving was how this over-sized 'Temple' sat in sharp contrast to to some of the worn buildings, homeless people and trash on the street surrounding it. I realize this is supposed to be a place of worship and that a number of people are moved by it, but I was not impressed by the obvious expenditure of wealth when so many have so little. I certainly don't see this as a tourist attraction. I'll not be back.

This big block of concrete should not be listed as a monument, not attractive at all, in the middle of a poor and dangerous area.

This is a huge, impressive looking building and complex, from the pictures we saw on TripAdvisor. After a 60-minute taxi ride to get here, we were disappointed with the experience. The building is large, but the furnishings are of the cheapest materials. The decorations on the gates and environment were all made of plastic, for example. I didn't know what to expect, but this was a wasted time in Sao Palo for us.

I wouldn't recommed a visit to this excessively sumptuous place, full of rules, like being searched, the prohibition to carry a cell phone, tablet or camera. Pictures, only those provided by "official" photographers, at a cost. Visits must be previsously scheduled, lasting, in the case of the Biblical Tour, around 1 hour. The present cost is BRL 25, and the payment forms are cash or credit/debit cards. Children, elderly and teachers are granted a 50% discount. Free parking.
