Neighbourhood: Pinheiros
Exploring Pinheiros, a neighbourhood known for cozy restaurants and cafes, you will notice a youthful energy. Several cultural centres and institutes surround the area and even its main church, Calvário, hosts a traditional Brazilian “Festa Junina” - a celebration with traditional music, dance, and food during the months of June and July. On the weekends, residents gather at Benedito Calixto Square, a loud and crowded area where people enjoy live music drinks alongside the antiquities fair.

When we arrived, you just can get over how pretty it is and the views are amazing.
However it all went down hill from there. We order two Cocktails and some food (which was lovely. Apart from the waiting staff being slow, they requested my credit card and said they would hold onto it took the end of the meal/drinks. I did not feel comfortable with this and said so to my waiter. He said this is procedure.
That was the only thing I used that card in Brazil. So I 100% know it was this hotel the skimmed my card and took out over €500.
My bank called me and I phones the hotel and the police. As I was out of the country at this stage there was nothing the police could do. I spoke to the hotel and explained everything, they took my number and email and said they would get back to me. That was over three week's ago.

Dear Trevor G,
Thank you for your review. As soon as you called the hotel, we forwarded your e-mail address to the Food and Beverages management. We contacted you via e-mail on September 24th, and again on September 30th as we did not have any reply. The e-mail we have does not seem to be incorrect as we did not receive an error message. Could you please check again and get back to us? Our direct contact is Rafhael Fournet, Skye supervisor, at rfournet@hotelunique.com.
All guests who enjoy the Skye Bar have the option of paying right away as items are consumed, or, paying at the end of the visit - in that case, we collect the credit card and return it when customers are due to pay their bill to leave.
We remain at your disposal and wait for your reply.

I loved this hotel - it is gorgeous and I did not want to leave.
We decided to treat ourselves for a night in Sao Paulo before we flew home, and Hotel Unique did not let us down. The welcome in the awe inspiring reception area was fantastic, and we were offered champagne to sip on to help ease the check-in process - a rare treat that you would never get in the London equivalents!
The rooms were beautiful and so, so comfortable, with the sofest of furnishings to sink into. You can plug in your i-pod and relax to your favourite tunes while making use of the L'occitane toiletries in the jaccuzi bath. Warning - be careful with the bubblebath! The porthole style windows can be covered by a sliding door, to facilitate a full nights sleep in total darkness, and you get the usual flatscreen TV, desk with Wi-fi etc.
The roof top pool and terrace area is stunning with 360 degree views of Sao Paulo, and the Capirinhias are the best- watch out though as they certainly pack a punch! Next to the terrace is a superb restaurant where we had a delicious meal of fillet mignon and oysters - highly reccomended.
Whilst it was by far the most expensive hotel we stayed in in Brazil, it offered great value for money when compared to European equivalents. You'd pay £400 plus for the London equivalent - and would not get as warm a welcome... If you're looking to treat yourself in Sao Paulo, then look no further, this is the hotel for you.

The place for Fashionistas....or wannabes. Great cocktail selection, with smart bartenders. They have good selections, and are very willing to work with your taste preferences.
But the view from the roof deck is one the best experiences in Sao Paolo. Nearly 360 degrees of the city skyline. We went late afternoon on Sunday and it was very friendly and fun people watching. Sunset came with beautiful sky colors and puffy clouds.

Very modern hotel with interesting architecture & design. Rooms are very clean, spacious and bright. Guests are very much made to feel welcomed from the moment they check in with friendly and helpful staff. Hotel has a be zen spa feeling with dim light in corridors and elevators. Great roof restaurant and bar with delicious food on the menu. Breakfast has a rich selection of choices.

Wonderful view at sunset or later to see the skyline of São Paolo. Modern, clean, bright, airy and with good service. Good selection of drinks. Not expensive. Well worth a visit. Make the time, be there for 5.45 pm if you can as the first lift to the Sky Bar is at 6.00 pm.

The place to be during the evening, there are always a lot of tourists and local people (most woman). The view is fantastic, the place is "hot", expensive but its all in the game.
Also during the day a visit can be very nice and when the sun shines and the cloud is clear is very nice to search for one of the relax chairs on the terras.
The hotel entrance is on one side of the hotel, the right side and on the left side there is an elevator to bring you to the rooftop.

I did not stay at the hotel, but I went in order to know the place and to have a good view of the city. The hotel is very interesting and different. The bar on top, the Sky is also interesting and has a wonderful view of the city. You can see from here a very green São Paulo, something different from the brick and mortar traditional image of the city. Also if you have some time you can sit down and have a good drink wield you enjoy the view.

Written 24 May 2017
Ola!!! Seria prudente pois o Sky lota lá no Unique. Nunca fui para o café da manhã , mas no bar ou jantar faz fila pra entrar. Agora se vc for no lobby do Hotel , no bar que é maravilhoso , aí não precisa de reserva . Vale a pena ir
