This zoo is state-owned, and like any other public attractions in this country, it's barely average. There's nothing there you haven't seen yet in your hometown zoo. A couple of lions, elephants, monkeys, birds and stuff.
Through the years this zoo has lost a few animals, but still the best option in São Paulo city. For small children, animals are always an amazing things to see. Ant exhibit is always interesting, with sessions in the afternoon.
