It's hard to find a zoo that creates a completely natural habitat for its animals, and the São Paulo Zoo is no exception. Still, staff try to provide a decent home for the more than 3,000 animals in their care, including local luminaries such as the...more

Very well organized, lots of animals with an easy sighting and multilingual signs for identifying them. Points to improve would be to make those animals signs larger and to redo the map (which they charge you for) it’s not that easy to read and definitely...More

This is a big enough zoo but there aren't too many animals and so sometimes you are stuck amongst a lot of people trying to see them. What I liked most was how many families were there and the opportunity to make a picnic afternoon...More

This zoo is state-owned, and like any other public attractions in this country, it's barely average. There's nothing there you haven't seen yet in your hometown zoo. A couple of lions, elephants, monkeys, birds and stuff.

Through the years this zoo has lost a few animals, but still the best option in São Paulo city. For small children, animals are always an amazing things to see. Ant exhibit is always interesting, with sessions in the afternoon.

Sao Paulo Zoo is located in a lovely area of Sao Paulo. It's a very nice place to go and take a few hours. We recommend to start the visit at 9am to avoid the hours where it would be so crowded.

Quase tudo fica no ar livre, então é melhor ir num dia sem chuva e o mais cedo possivel para aproveitar tudo.
