This park is at the northern edge of Sao Paulo. Entrance is free, and it is quite crowded (on Saturdays at least). The ponds, or small lakes, are where most of the animals are. Water birds, turtles, and fish mainly. There should be some capybaras...More

Beautiful green park just outside the busy city of Sao Paulo. Nice area to have a stroll and even a picknick. Especially very busy in the weekend when the locals occupy the park. Nice spot to go for bird and flower lovers!

Unless you are interested in seeing how the locals enjoy the park, there is nothing special about it and it is super crowded on the weekends.

Old Horto Florestal, the State Park Alberto Löfgren, although located in an urban area, holds vast areas of the Atlantic Forest, providing an important reference for the people of Northern Capital Region.

Nice for a walk in the middle of a countless kin of trees, lakes with waterlilys, birds, monkees with a strategic placed bar and restaurant. (If you want to find your Zen, Alpha Status, that´s the right place!)
