Great market

Usual arts and flee market type stuff. Some great stuff on sale and lovely food. Worth a visit - actually a must for shopping.

I had a lot of fun here! Too many things to see and buy here such as hand made, 2nd hand devices, ... food is really good too!

I have wanted to go to this market since i have been traveling to Sao Paolo. So, having a weekend between work i went there and it didnt disappointed. The place is a mainly antique / flea market with food. You can really see some interesting stuff even if you are not a colector. The people in the market is... More

On Saturday, this square is a wonderful place to stroll with friends and family. Hundreds of tents exhibit antiques (from clothes, watches, radio, glasses, silverware, porcelain etc). Very crowded on afternoon. Street finger foods and typical beverages are available for hungry curious visitors. Otherwise, if you are tired, there are several interesting restaurants around (e.g., Consulado Mineiro, Benedito, Sushi etc).... More

We've been here twice since moving to SP and it's a great little market. Nice silver, mid century modern furniture, and other bits and bobs like party masks, clothing etc. Plus there's a small kids playground in the centre next to the food stall. Really nice Saturday morning activity :)

Great place to be on a Saturday - art dealers and antiques to buy, great atmosphere, nice places around to sit down and watch people, easy to make friends - try the food market in the middle of the square

Sao Paulo city is humongous. If you landed here you would spend years to survey the best attractions. So it sounds nice, in the first moment, but the sensation of getting drawn in a ocean of good opportunities is a tragedy indeed. So here I am among many fellows to provide nice tips for you in order to save your... More

Whenever I have the chance, I go to this street market just to browse the antiques and relax. Come on a sunny Saturday afternoon, have a beer and enjoy it until about 19h00.

Some friends took me here and I was very pleased by the old garage sale vibe going on. No great treasures but lots of fun browsing and people watching. Also, great food available and funky shops in the nearby neighborhood (good used bookstores in particular). As a plus, as it gets dark and the feira winds down it becomes a... More

The market is nice to stroll around, not really art but more curiosa. The great surprise for us that 5 minutes from the market there're multiple music instrument stores and while we found SP expensive, these instruments are a bargain. My son bought a saxophone for 500 USD, back home in Europe we would pay 2000USD.

Neighbourhood Profile
Pinheiros
Exploring Pinheiros, a neighbourhood known for cozy restaurants and cafes, you will notice a youthful energy. Several cultural centres and institutes surround the area and even its main church, Calvário, hosts a traditional Brazilian “Festa Junina” - a celebration with traditional music, dance, and food during the months of June and July. On the weekends, residents gather at Benedito Calixto Square, a loud and crowded area where people enjoy live music drinks alongside the antiquities fair.
