The area
Sé, which derives its name from Sé Square, is a central neighbourhood in historic São Paulo. Close by, the Law School, the Museum of the Court of Justice and the Metropolitan Cathedral offer inspiring architecture. If you are looking for cultural activities, head to Caixa Cultural and check the schedule. In the area there is a popular pedestrian street called “Rua Direita”, one of the first streets in the region, which today marks the crowded perimeter. Sé is a great area to explore during daytime, but use caution if visiting alone at night.

One-of-a-kind concert hall in Brazil
Dec. 2018
This is the reference concert hall for classical music in Brazil. Sala Sao Paulo has been built after an initiative headed by Brazil's ex-president Fernando Henrique Cardoso, erected over an abandoned railway station of yore. Having been quoted among the ten best concert halls in the world due to its acoustics, Sala Sao Paulo has long joined learned music's highest ranks as a select venue for welcoming touring orchestras and visiting artists of renown from the world over, besides housing the local Sao Paulo State Orchestra named OSESP.
Its building installations are quite classy and historical, and reflect its architectural value.
The building houses a fine restaurant as well as a café, whose menu and dishes are on a par with the musical attractions provided.
An ample parking space is also available underneath the ground floor, as well as a record shop.
I truly recommend you book a seat at Sala Sao Paulo. Select cultural attractions of interest make up for a distinguished programme which takes place within a nice concert hall where one may unwind and feel carried away by nice classical music live performances.

Beautiful place With Greate History
Mar. 2019 • Family
It´s a very beautiful place and usually show are very good.
The only concern is around the Sala. But the place has your properly parking and the price is not cheap but it´s better than go by walk.
Usually the tickets you can take in Monday or you can try in the day of the show.
Anyway it´s a very good place to go with family or alone to listen a very good music.

Great evening!
Dec. 2018 • Couples
My husband and I just moved to Brasilia a few months ago and Sao Paulo is our first experience outside Brasilia. We are also new to traveling around South America. We went to a wine tasting and saw the orchestra at Sala. We had a fantastic time! The wine was great and we met English speaking friends. The building is beautiful. The orchestra was really amazing as well. However, to me it doesn't seem like Sala is in a safe area of the city and I think one should be aware of that since the events are at night. Would I go back? Yes but be aware and have the uber pick you up right by the door or take a taxi which they have a stand for in the building.
