Locals may not know Vila Buarque by name, but they are surely aware of the neighbourhood's landmarks and uniqueness. Rua Maria Antonia is a classic college area, where students hang out in the many pubs. Nearby you will find two important cultural centres: SENAC and SESC Consolação. They offer a variety of affordable classes, plays, concerts and recreation activities. Vila Buarque is home to the Santa Casa Hospital, an important institution in the city with an amazing architecture. Lugar pequeno, mas bem localizado..de fácil acesso..Rua Major Sertório,476, na verdade um Teatro-Escola, onde se apresentam seus alunos, com peças de atores consagrados...gostei e voltarei..
