Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place, besides beautiful, saves a lot for its bread. We buy bread with sausage (very tasty) and mini cuca, generally costs R$7-8 and only accept pix or money. Save a lot when the cash is short kkk

Mandatory stop to eat the famous bread and sausage that comes straight from the wood oven!!!
There's bread with sausage, with cheese and both together. Simply perfect... not to mention the variety of cucas. I recommend the chocolate, dulce de leche and banana one!

this plaza is on the corner of one of the main streets in gramado and you don't need to plan a visit, as you are certainly visiting downtown and you will get to it anyways. It has several stalls selling handicrafts.

The praça is great for all the things that have already been mentioned but you should really go there for the bakery. It is worth waiting in the long queues for beautiful hot bread (R$6) and the sausage sandwich (R$2) . There is a German delicatessen next door but the bakery is Gramado's best kept secret.

You cannot miss this place, is in the middle of the city, on your way to anywhere, so you have to pass by it. It is pretty, but not spectacular.

We visited this park on Xmas, there were great bakery spots with traditional bread and cakes, also an interesting exhibition made from recicled plastic botteles, houses are very well preserved as a good evidence of colonial times, good value!

In late 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century, Brazil and specifically the region of Gramado, in the mountains of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (the so called "Serra Gaúcha"), started receiving immigrants from many countries. The biggest groups were from Germany, Italy and Portugal. "Praça das Etnias" honors the first settlers! The "Praça das Etnias" complex includes the square and the premises of "Casa do Colono". I'm sure you'll enjoy visiting "Praça das Etnias" (located at a short walk from Gramado's Bus Station) with its historical buildings, handicrafts shops and the possibility of buying freshly baked breads and natural products (honey, marmalades, sweets, biscuits, cheese, sausages etc.) coming from local producers. Take your time, stroll along and check the wood burning ovens baking delicious "cucas". Enjoy!

Our first tour in Gramado. It is close to other sights of the city centre. All very neat, with several tents of food and crafts.
