Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went to the Festivals Palace as a family to watch an illusion show.

The place has an excellent location, exactly in front of Rua Coberta.

The problem is parking (which is a problem throughout the city nowadays).

But the event structure is very good.

Its pretty much a movie theather or just a theater. But at night, when it's christmas season there is an adorable show where the magic light up the city.

Every year, the garden city of Gramado, situated at the top of the "Serra Gaúcha" in the Rio Grande do Sul State, opens its doors to the Latin-American and Brazilian film industry, hosting the most important and long standind Film Festival in Brazil. This year, 2013, Gramado welcomes the 41st edition of the Film Festival, attracting cinema professionals and fans from all over the world: important directors, actors, actresses, professionals and many, many students of cinema, what gives the Festival a further importance in fostering a new generation of moviemakers! The Palace of the Festivals, situated right at the heart of the city, side by side to the magnificent Cathedral of St. Peter Apostle, is the home of the Film Festival. With a capacity of 1100 spectators, the Palace, built in the traditional bavarian architectonic style, has been completely renovated in order to efficiently welcome and accomodate its main attraction: the Gramado Film Festival and the thousands of visitors that come every year to this magic and beautiful town! Enjoy!

It is worth seeing the Palace of Festivals because it is famous for hosting the Festival of Cinema and the delivery of Kikito (kikito is the Brazilian "Oscar"). During the year there are many programs there. It is located right across from the covered street.

It's hard for a cinematographer not to recognize and visit this place. We had a unique opportunity not only to visit it, but to enjoy with free entry on the day. The museum is totally interactive, but the Guide was super friendly and we had the opportunity to get to know every corner of the Palace. What ⁇ left a little to be desired was the care with this attraction. We noticed several careless points, such as infiltrations, broken parts, finally. For a place that is one of the main tourist attractions of the city, one notices a certain abandonment for the Attraction. Per ⁇ a care that is interesting to observe, especially for the festival approaching in the coming months.
