Best at day, the walk along Avenida Atlantica is a must while in Rio. There are ample places to grab reasonably priced drinks and food and lots of people watching available.

Mile after mile of beach and ocean. This is Rio, the beach, people, restaurants and high rise hotels. What a site and I loved it.

This avenue is pretty clean especially compared to city streets in the US. I think it helps that there are trash bins every few meters or so and that they seem to be emptied almost daily. There are a lot of homeless people along this...More

WE loved it here, great place to watch people. It was very active, families, ball games going on and lots of choices to have dinner. It's the perfect way to spend an afternoon.

Is the very most important avenue in this area of the city, not that sure to go out there in the night, where there are more tourists you find more thieves. By the way during the day is perfect!

more live side-by-side. There are options for all
price points and tastes. However, the most powerful
