Great to walk and enjoy the beach along the way. City tour busses go along this avenue also. There are expensive restaurants on the city side and small cozy restaurants with live music at night on the beach side.

Great location, amazing sea view, but it is very touristic and not particular safe. For a more attractive spot walk towards Ipanema/Leblon.
