Historical Catholic Church from 18th century with pretty interior design. Closed on the afternoon, so best time to visit would be in the morning or early noon. Worth quick stop on a tour of Centro for its mixed architecture (classic, baroque and romantic).

The Cathedral is very close to the Future Museum, Navy Museum and Rio central area. It is a masterpiece of old architecture and offers a beautiful retreat to escape the heat and crowds.

An amazing church that you have to take a few minutes of your trip to enter and visit . It is interesting to read something about its construction and history too.

Downtown Rio is the place where this city was born.
With modern skyscrapers sharing space with historical
buildings and landmarks, this neighbourhood is living
proof that the old and the new can live together
harmoniously. As you would expect, downtown is where
