Our guide, Jonna, was fantastic. She gave us a lot of background regarding the sights and sounds of Downtown Rio. We saw all the sights (Selaron Steps, Confeitaria Colombo, Cathedral, Lapa District, Opera House). Good opportunity to discover Rio and orientate yourself

We did the tour on our first day in Rio and were impressed. Natalia was a superb tour guide with a very good English and we benefited a lot. We revisited a couple places later on our own which we wouldn't else. Highly recommended.

I really liked this tour, as we could explore the oldest part of the city (except from Santa Teresa). Also the other tourists and the tour guide were very fun and nice. There’s only one thing I didn’t like and it was at the end...More

Downtown Rio is the place where this city was born.
With modern skyscrapers sharing space with historical
buildings and landmarks, this neighbourhood is living
proof that the old and the new can live together
harmoniously. As you would expect, downtown is where
all major companies house their offices. However, the
region isn’t restricted to businesses. Gems such like
the “Paço Imperial,” which is a cultural centre that

Between 10-20 dollars depending on how well you think your guide did. Your guide will tell you where to hang out. Tours usually start & finish in different places.

I believe for the food tour you have to reserve in advance, as I saw on their website it costs R$60 per person. Not 100% sure though.
