This place is an excellent option to visit in very hot days. Lots of trees and it's good to chill and enjoy the view of Corcovado and the Christ. It has a nice café inside with good food and drinks.

You may easily reach this Park after walking around Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas (recommended, as this is a nice lake in the middle of Rio). Also very close you may also visit Jardim Botanico (Botanic Garden) within a walking distance from Parque Lage. Parque Lage...More

Was difficult to enjoy the place as it was so crowded and full of pregnant women and couples having photo shoots. It did not live up to expectations.

I took an Uber. Uber in Brazilian currency really isn’t that bad. You might have to google it. Will all depend on where you coming from. I did see plenty of buses on the Main Street
