You need call their office to book in advance a guided tour. One or two days before the visits it is fine. There are 2 tours every day (morning and early evening) of around 90 minutes visits. They can speak English and Portuguese.
Be sure to arrive there on time. There is no public transportation to get you to the entrance. So, rent a car with a good map/GPS or ask a taxi driver that can take you there. Enjoy!
