In this palace it's all about justice. A guide tells you everything about the palace: you can have a guided tour in Portuguese, but also in English and it's for free! Nice how to see how the parliament in Rio looks like

I passed by it, when my private tour guide and I walked towards Praça Quinze. I saw a group of young men and women in navy blue uniform coming out of the main door and taking photos.

This is one impressive building from the outside, I recommend doing the guided tour, you get an explanation and access to areas normally not accessible for the general public. Open on mondays!

It is ironic that the building that was once the jail, now houses the legislative chamber of the government for Rio. ;ot of history.

If you are an architecture lover you must visit this place. Located right in the heart of Rio's downtown, Tiradentes Palace is a beautiful building and once was the Congress' headquarters. It won't take more than 30 minutes to visit the place and you will...More

Downtown Rio is the place where this city was born.
With modern skyscrapers sharing space with historical
buildings and landmarks, this neighbourhood is living
proof that the old and the new can live together
harmoniously. As you would expect, downtown is where
all major companies house their offices. However, the
region isn’t restricted to businesses. Gems such like
the “Paço Imperial,” which is a cultural centre that
