About
The Pedra Branca property is located in one of the most beautiful regions of Paraty, the Pedra Branca Vale, a well preserved location, with beautiful waterfalls, besides view of the sea and mountain range. The property is cut through one of the original patches from the Estrada do Ouro, in a region with a lot of Cachaça producers. It is on this historic and cultural atmosphere, surrounded by the Atlantic Forest and the beauty of the Paraty Bay, that it was born the Cachaça Pedra Branca, the most recent addition to the Paraty family. Between our products, it is possible to relish Pedra Branca Ouro (Gold), Prata (Silver), Drinks, Caramelada (Ginger), besides the Cravo e Canela (Cinnamon and Clove), the last two being infusions with the sugar cane syrup, in addition to our line of liqueurs produced with our Cachaça and exclusive Pedra Branca flavors, besides locally produced artisanal deserts. Open daily for visitation, tasting and sales: Monday to Monday: 10am 5pm

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I love visiting distilleries and this was no exception. We came here during a Pataty Tours cruise excursion. We got to visit the distillery (or perhaps one made for public demonstration) then went into their rural retail store for tastings. We were offered half-shots of 33% brandy of different flavors. They sell everything from mini-bottles to pints and quarts in the store.

Interesting to see the sugar cane harvest taking place the old fashioned way. Each place has a unique artistic perspective worth seeing.

The rum called bcachaça cachaça which is sometimes labeled as "Brazilian rum," is distilled at this distillery and the different product you can taste is done in a very warm atmosphere.

Picturesque distillery where you can learn about the traditional process of producing Cachaca (made from sugarcane juice) that is used in their "national" drink, Caipirinha's. They do tastings and sell it there, as well. We went here as part of a 4 wheel drive tour from our cruise ship. Fun stop.

The best presentation of cachaça from the Paraty Stills. Highly prepared staff to teach you how to drink and buy (lol) a cachaça!

Very old still, there used to be a rapadura factory on site, still maintained today, attentive guide, very good tasting, it is worth knowing the different types of cachaça and its manufacturing stages.

Extremely beautiful place!
Very handcrafted still. We were very well received, all the staff were super welcoming.
Priscila gave us a lesson on how to drink cachaça, she gave us special attention!
We tried a delicious Drink Jorge Amado, made with Licor Gabriela, of all the stills we visited, in addition to the service being a differentiator, their Gabriela is made with sugarcane molasses, which we also bought, by the way.
The place is still Pet Friendly.
There are deaf employees, (even) they provide services in other languages.
An experience to remember for a lifetime.
Congratulations to all of you.
