Historical gorgeous bay with calm waters. Go see the Saco de Mamanguá, Ilha da Cotia and if you enjoy snorkeling go to the nearby Ilha do Algodão and choose any place with rocks. Beautiful marine life.

We wondered up and down the quay and spotted the "Barco Joao Neto" a really attractive small boat with captain Gustavo who treated us really well and spoke English. It's suitable for 4+ people. We agreed a price of R$200 for 3 passengers and a...More

We visited as a part of our day trip and chilled out on the beach whilst the rest went to the natural pool. Not much to do, but a nice way to spend a sunny afternoon. Peaceful and calming. Some great natural rocks to climb...More

We heard that people usually spend only a day or two in Paraty, but we spent four days and had a great time. We had a five hour boat tour one day, on the Sol da Manha and it was great.

I have been to Paraty accidentaly, but I would like to stay there at least for few days. The landscape is amazing: rainforest and the Ocean. The trips around are cheap!

This seaside town is a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the big cities that sandwiched our tour. There is plenty to see and do while here although most will cost you money. You can just hang-out at the beach if...More

A secluded, historic town and bay. Beautifully colorful boats bob in the harbor, fishing boats come to the dock, and there's all variety of sport boating available. Nice park next to the dock to sit and enjoy or stroll.

This is a paradise. Not far away from Rio but a world apart. A place of calm..Lovely colonial architecture. It is largely unspoiled. Easy and recommended to do a boat trip on the bay with all drinks included and snorkeling, even saw a seahorse close...More

Maybe the most beautiful place I've ever been. We hired a boat (with boatman) on two separate days. Exploring the huge bay involved stopping off at deserted island beaches and finding great places for lunch. The place is so unspoilt that it's easy to feel...More

Hi there! It is not a snorkeling boat. If you brought your own equipment you likely could snorkel though. These boats are right at the marina. You will see them when you walk down to the water. We stayed at a Pousada and... More
