White, powdery sand, turquoise water , no restaurants, a couple of stands selling drinks & snacks. After an hour boat ride I walked 30 minutes which was difficult for me as I did not see anyone even close to my age doing it. I have...More

An ok beach with fine, squeaky, white sand. And a wide beachfront. But it was quite windy for the 2 days I was there and the water had a lot of waves and there was a big current so there was no swimming allowed. Directly...More

Massive beach with plenty of room for all the tourists. There’s a few stalls selling sandwiches, snacks and drinks at a marked up price. The sea is rough so don’t swim too far out, there are warning flags. It is a 2 1/2 hour walk...More

We hiked from Abraão and arrived at Lopes Mendes Beach just after lunch. Amazing scenery; squeaky clean sand; bizarrely sand not hot under the foot

A tough and sweaty 7k trek from Vila Do Abraao, but boats are available one way/both ways if you don't fancy the hike. The beach is stunning with good surf to play in and shade all along the back edge of the beach. If you're...More

We walked there from abraao which was nice. The beach is amazing with white sand and trees. There is place to buy drinks. To go back we took a taxi boat and it costed 25 reals. You can also take a big boat which takes...More

You need to walk something like 3 hours all the way down to the beach or buy a taxiboat and then walk 20 minutes. What you can do is to walk the way on through the jungle (you will even see some monkeys) and take...More

We arrived early brought by taxi boat to another beach. After a 20 min walk we reach the beach where we met only one other person an argentinian tourist we suspect to have slept on the beach. For the rest an empty beach except for...More
