Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited both Cupe and Pontal do Cupe in the same day (they are right next to each other) but there is a huge extension of beach. Some areas have infrastructure while some other parts are more desert and quieter.
Bear in mind that the water is a bit dangerous with the high tide, wavy ideal for surfing (not to much for swimming)

This beach is busier than Muro Alto and has the weekend warriors. There are waves to jump. You should know how to swim if you go in the water here.

Clean but a bit dangerous for kids. Waves come from all directions and are ver strong. Early morning a bit calmer though.

It is a beautiful sandy beach that forms a natural pool with warm water due to the reefs, but is so crowded and full of noise that it is impossible to relax and enjoy the sea and the sun. We visited it and left, it was enough just to see it.

There is not any attractive in this beach. Many hawkers along the beach. They annoy you all the time.

Our hotel was on this beach. Like most Brazilian beaches I've been to, it had strong waves. (Which I LOVE) some people like calmer waters though. You do need to be careful. The beach is lined with small roped off areas protecting sea turtle eggs. One day at the hotel we were lucky enough to see them come out of the sand and walk to the ocean! It was one of the best things I've seen in my life. We were there in May, I'm not sure what the time line is for all of them to be born. If you are staying a hotel in porto de galinhas I reccomend finding one on this beach. It is a beautiful, CLEAN beach that is away from the craziness of downtown porto de galinhas but is only a 5 minutes car ride so you can go to the city when you want to have dinner or walk around town. I would definitely stay in this location again!

Yes the sea is a bit rough but that means less people and kids (no ofence...). Ideal to relax, sunbathe and read your book. When and if you feel like a bit of the buzz, Porto the Galinhas is certainly the place...

For me it was the most beautiful beach at the region! Blue water with white waves landing at the white sand. Unforgetable!

Good only if you want to walk along the beach. It's open sea, so you cannot swim. The other beaches of Ipojuca / Porto de Galinhas are much better.

Very nice sandy beach with some isolated areas out of the crowd. The ocean is quite rough so not good for swimming.
