I hit Shopping Guararapes running when Air Europa lost my luggage (something they do on a regulat basis). I found most of what i needed from electrical plug to take UK chargers, to essentual clothing. Almost no one spoke English. Google translator got me through! Portuguese and Spanish. The shops are more or less what you would expect back home. Some very good clothing shops but the shoes tend to be of the very cheap variety. Sports wear/casual wear/ are most popular. There are eateries. Its a hub . Best to taxi or Uber from your hotel. Easy pick up points. Good place to buy a few sensible souvenirs!

This is not a large mall, but it is excellent if you don't wanna waste time walking down very long aisles. Here you find key stores, small shops, banks, post office, lottery office, traffic dept. office, movies and restaurants.
