Forest Experience is an encounter held in the forest of Parque das Aves, at night, around a campfire, with the Guarani-Mbya, inhabitants of the village Jacy Pora, located on the other side of the Iguassu River in Argentina. In this meeting, the Guaranis hold the welcome ceremony, which involves dancing, a traditional dinner shared with them and the tobacco ceremonial.

The bird park has a lovely variety of birds and sufficient information about each. I especially enjoyed the walk through aviaries and getting close to the noisey macaws and magical toucans.

It is a short walk from Brasil's National Park. Ticket is expensive but worth paying. The place is huge and you get not only to see amazing birds, but also amazing plants. The people working in the park know a lot about birds too!

Well done park taking care of recovering or injured birds and animals. Toucan's 1 meter away from you, excellent aviary, butterfly house, and the effort to keep things natural ended up having us spend more time than we originally thought we would!

Normally sceptical about attractions so close to something world famous like Iguazu Falls, I went to the bird park with low expectations. They were blasted out of the water by this place. The birds were beautiful and the work the park does is fantastic. At BR $40 per person its a really good price too.

I really enjoyed this park. They really make an attempt to provide the birds with natural habitats. I loved the butterfly house with the hummingbirds enclosed with them. The birds are right best to you and taking photos of these beautiful birds is easy. Don't miss this park.

As we were staying in the Belmond hotel we were able to take the park bus there and a short walk, the entrance fee is ok for a family of four although the queue was long and very slow to pay! The park itself is very well laid out with lots to see, for me the birds were very beautiful... More

We spent a morning there. It's an opportunity to get close and personal to birds from all over South America. The birds all appeared healthy and well treated. An opportunity to get up close to toucans - as a few of them are really tame. Would recommend

Across the street from the entrance to see the Brazilian side of Iguazu falls, this is a beautiful park. Clean, friendly, great facilities including bathrooms everywhere, and the birds! It takes 1 1/2 hours to walk the path around the park and is an easy addition for your day of seeing the falls.

If exotic birds are your thing then this place is a great morning out. Loads and loads of different birds from flamingos to parrots to vultures.. seems to be a well run place and the birds all seemed to be well looked after..
