We were so overwhelmed by the crowds at Iguassu National Park we decided to come here the next day instead. We booked a tour initially which we cancelled when they suggested picking us up at 0830 for a 1400 tour. Instead we took a bus...More

I did not learn anything. The in-house guides only tell you brief history and only the good side. It’s brain washing to hear their side of the story. It omits the difficulties to be built, the Indians that had to be removed, etc, etc. Good...More

As a Brazilian I could never expect to have such a huge construction like this. If you are a engineer you would love and if you’re not as well.

Tour is exceptionally interesting and well organised. Unfortunately with the Scenic tour one does not see Itaipu Town's infrastructure, nor any of the Hydroelectric active plants.

As the title suggests, this is totally worth it for any of those that are curious about anything requiring intellectual ability. Go on the Paraguay side - it's free and they basically let you do whatever you want at times. The Brazil side charges, or...More

The special tour of this dam gives you a real feel for the epic scale of the dam and is highly recommended. Subject to availability you can just turn up on the day to do it. Inside the walls of the dam you can see...More
