    Totally amazing and awe inspiring.
A fantastic experience. It is really well organised, so much better than I thought it was going to be. When you start off, the vistas are good, but they get better and better. The sheer size and the power of the falls is truly magnificent. It certainly is a wonder of the natural world.

    An Absolute Must
We caught the bus here from the ARG town across the river, a journey of 40 mins or so, including crossing the border. Here on the BRA side, there are automated ticket machines, and a long, Disneyesque queue to board a bus for the 12km or so journey to the 2nd stop. While the ARG side takes you to the top of several falls, here on the BRA side 3/4 of the single trail (which has steep slopes and steps) gives longer, wider-angle views that give a better sense of scale. For the last part, on walkways out over the mid-level, we got drenched. But this was great, as the air temperature was well over 30°C here by the water, and over 40°C at the park entrance. We were glad we visited both ARG and BRA sides, on separate days. If you began very early, you could visit both in a single day, but it would be a rush.

Footpath to Devils mouth closed but no matter
We had a great day the water falls are amazing. Be prepared to get wet as it is a rain forest. When we arrived we were advised the path to the devils mouth had been closed since October due the path being down. Whilst it would have been good to know before hand it made no difference as views and falls are amazing. I would recommend walking both the upper and lower paths. It will costs more but do the rafting you get soaked but great fun!

    Mother Nature at Full Throttle!
Well, Day Two found us back in the National Park but on the Brazilian side to view the falls. This NP was founded in 1939, partly from the efforts of Santos Dumont, a famous Brazilian aviator. The view from the Brazil side, is in my opinion, better! Our guide advised that it is a common view. You are closer in Argentina but get the full view on the Brazil side. Plus, with the walkway below the Devils Throat you can't get much closer or wetter! Either way, to fully appreciate the Iguazu (or Iguacu) Falls you need to visit both sides to get the full picture. You will find spectacular sights & truly wonder at these natural beauties!! Plus, you can get up close with the South American Coati, a walking furry garbage cleaner or catch a glimpse of a Toucan!

    Spectacular
The waterfalls are absolutely stunning, photos don’t do them justice. Start at the Belmont Hotel and do the trail to the Devil’s throat. Two advantages - you don’t get wet until the end and you can take a lift back up to bus stop level.

    Brilliant natural wonders
We absolutely enjoyed our visit here. I am so grateful they created a national park to protect the falls on both sides of the border. We started at the Brazil side, you can buy tickets online or in person. We took a bus to the last stop and did the trail down towards devil throat. Beautiful views and well marked trails. Wear sturdy hiking boots and carry something to prevent you from getting soaked as you go towards your destination. Carry water and snacks. There are huge crowds of people so start early, took us two hours. There is a wonderful, expensive buffet for lunch if you would like to eat there. You can also stop and do boat tour which is an additional cost. We then the next day did Argentina side border crossing with help of Iguazu taxi travel company. Most of this side is closed due to floods last Oct. We bought tickets online. Took a train to last stop. So another 3 hours of hiking upper and lower circuit. Visitor center and a brief museum history. We ate lunch at Gran Melia. You can chose boat tour options here as well. We saw birds, monkey, coati toucan. Stunning views from upper side of falls. Up close and personal. You must do both sides to get full experience.

This is a travel highlight on a global scale. The Brazilian National Park is well organized and run. Purchase tickets (if you don't already have them) at kiosks and then enter the park through the pavilion where you can get onto a bus or meet a guided vehicle if you have a park guide. Generally this is a one way trail. Get off in front of the hotel and follow the canyon rim to the various viewpoints, ending the Devil's Throat area. We were absolutely soaked out on the boardwalks on the day we visited but it was a great experience. There are a couple different cafes and a full service restaurant at the top of the falls. The boat safari is also accessible from inside the park but run by an outside operator.
If you have children under the age of 12, and intend to do the boat safari you need to do it on the Brazilian side.

We stayed on the Argentina side and took the city bus to the park. We had prepaid for tickets, and this saved us a lot of time because the lines are long to buy tickets. We caught the bus about an hour before our appointed time and were able to make it. the city bus left on the 1/2-hour mark and takes about an hour to get there including going through customs. Try to get through customs as soon as you can because the bus does not wait very long.

The Falls are incredible, and you get great views of them. The trail does have some steep sections and stairs. I have knee issues but took my time and was fine. At the end of the trail you can get close to the falls and feel the breeze and mist caused by them. There is an elevator to take you back up to the top. Trinkaterias are at the bottom of the elevator and at the top. We had a burger at the stand and it was good. Staff spoke English very well.

Park was clean and staff was nice. Go there!

I was really impressed by the cleanliness, efficiency, and orderliness of this park. Everything runs really smoothly. Not to mention the great sights. The restaurant inside the park, Porto Canoas, is large and has a nice variety of dishes in an all-you-can-eat system.

This parque in Brazil is quite large but simple. Get tickets for the parque at the entrance. I was happy that they offered kiosks to purchase tickets which was a faster process than getting a persons help with tickets. Next, wait in line to get on a bus to go into the park. Ride into the parque. You can get off at the stop across from the Large Pink hotel and walk about 1 km to the falls viewpoint OR, get off at the next stop which is closer to the falls viewpoint. At this bus stop point there are a couple of food and drink places. Nice place to grab lunch and beers before walking to the falls. The walk to the falls is pretty straightforward and full of people taking selfies. If there weren't so many people, I imagine we would've stared at the falls more, but it's so chaotic that we just wanted to leave after a few minutes. We were there over New Years break, so maybe it was extra crowded. There's more hiking on the Argentina side of the parque, but I really liked the bit of hiking we did on the Brazil side. We chose to walk the 1km back to the Pink hotel bus stop. Along the way we saw lizards and Coatis, also known as coatimundis. The bird park is within walking distance and is worth stopping by if you have time after your visit to the park.

I went with family. Althoug the walking path is not too long ~1.5km, it was a challenging route as I was carrying a stroller with us. However, that did not decrease the joy of attending into such a wonderful place! It makes sense to go to both sides of the falls as the view is quite different.
Before leaving, there are some places where to eat some food. The fast food is OK, not vey expensive nor very cheap. For those who take the early tour, I suggest taking a coat as the bus trip becomes quite windy/cold.

Spectacular falls, the best is to take two days so you can see the Brazilian and the Argentine side. The Brazilian park is very organized however, limited walkways, you really can not stray off the path and the path itself has few opions. There are a couple of eating options including the very fancy hotel on the park grounds.

Created in 1939, Brazil's second oldest national park is today one of the most visited sights in the country. As such, my spouse and I found the congestion intolerable on the day of our visit in late October. The crowds were horrific. Walking along the trail with the hordes of people was not pleasant, and every photo stop was a challenge.

Although many travel guides state that this park offers more spectacular views, we found just the opposite to be true. The park in Argentina has an extensive network of forest and waterside trails that offer visitors close-up views of the smaller falls, which this one doesn't. We also found the Argentine park more pleasant to explore. This Brazilian park also offers less wildlife experiences.

While the two of us enjoyed our time here, we enjoyed the other one more.

Most of Iguassu Falls is on the Argentinian side so walking on the Brazilian side gives you some great views of the falls. I recommend taking the walkway near the base of Floriano Falls into the middle of the river. You will get wet, but there is nothing like seeing the falls up close and feeling their power.
