This beautiful temple is located a little bit out of town and has a great view of the city on the Brazilian and the Paraguay site. There are several great Buddha statues and the green area with the two parallel rows of the buddhas's is awesome.

Nice place with lot of statues, prayer room and small shop. For free. Takes like 30 min maximum. Nice to visit.

The place is nice, but I was truly expecting more. Ok, it is the only place you can enjoy such a visit in Foz, but the place is not well maintained, noisy and (it was Sunday) we could only enter in a small piece of the temple itself.

Having been in Thailand I must warn people who visited temples in Asia that this is a rather modest version. If you never visited Buddhist temples this is a good way of learning the basics of temples of this religion but for those that know sites as this they will be disappointed, if your visit is part of a day... A place where you know more about different cultures and beliefs. There you will see a shiny golden stature of Buddha.

This place let you forget that you are in Brazil. The temple area is clean and invites to relax. Unfortunately, the descriptions are just in portuguese, so for a person with not much knowledge about the buddhist religion is a bit lost about the meaning of the statues.

This temple is lovely and really well taken care of. While we were there, people were polishing the statues and taking care of the garden. If you are into Buddhism (or even if you are not) it is worthwhile visiting it. It is located on top of a hill, on a peaceful a beautiful spot. I visited the temple on... More

A big and beautiful place to appreciate the silence of peace. It is free. You should visit the small store.

Well, the temple is located in a poor neighborhood, not sure if it's safe. I went with the local bus, was told by a local that there are muggers in the area. The temple has very big statues. After seeing so much nature during this trip, it was shocking to see these man-made structures. For me, it took some of... More
