We visited the park for the RV campground. We chose this place for it's amenities. The park is very nice. It is asphalt and well taken care of. The restrooms are nice and the shower facilities are decent as well. There are not a lot...More

A lovely little park with a natural artsian spring. If your lucky might be a wedding going on. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for some trail time

Very relaxed atmosphere. Have been to a couple of different wedding rehearsal dinners there. Great venue. Nice walking trails and plenty of parking.

Was all blocked off with orange cones when we drove there. No signs saying any reason why. From what we could see the park was empty in the middle of the afternoon.

I grew up walking to this park, enjoying the water and delighting in the nature to observe. Great to know it's still there. The artesian fountains are still flowing but walkways and areas improved but not at cost of changing the charming park. The picnic...More

Pretty RV Park located on the shores of Lake Superior. Electric and water hookups. Dump site available. A beautiful spot to watch the sunset! Surprisingly quiet even so close to town. Lots of families camping with their children. Older folks, too.

I love Prentice Park. I have been coming here since I was a child, but find out just as charming as an adult. A peaceful and casual spot to picnic, camp or take an easy nature walk.

Great place to take the family for an afternoon or for a camping trip. There are walking trails that go to a duck pond, biking trails that go around the entire city, playground equipment, space to play football or your own games, shady or sunny,...More

The spring flowers were blooming birds singing and a few people camping. Hiking trail all the way to The beach on the bay of Lake Superior and along the Lake, and for miles in wooded areas. Looks like the campground was building a new restroom.

Not really because it's not right by the lake and there's lots of trees. Better is to camp there and drive about 1/2 mile to the lakeside park. There's no camping right on the lake in Ashland.
