This Fort is near the peer and the building/ museum / cannons are all really interesting. Our visit was accompanies by a guy singing opera on top of his voice :D.

it helps know about indigenous tribes that lived before portuguese conquest and its destiny. It is clean and nicely maintained

A beatiful fort form the XIX century, to protcet the port of Belem. You find old english cannons and an exibhit about the hitoriy of Belem settlement and the native tribes.

It is well preserved, but there is not much to see. You combine the visit here to the museum with the ship and the 11 windows museum and you have a nice combination. There is not much info about the history and you can walk...More

Make it part of your itinerary while walking in the area. Spend some half an hour there, well preserved. Good pictures can be taken. Be aware while you walk from the market to this fort, your camera might draw some unwanted attention.
