Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An awesome place to visit, and very popular with good reason. When we arrived before the gates opened, there were already cars lined up waiting to get in. The restaurant and the area around it are very busy on weekends. Hikers and birders will enjoy the distant areas of the garden, too.
One significant detraction is a large glass room in the middle of the garden housing cactuses which I understand is a death trap for birds who do not see the glass and fly into it and break their necks. It's hard to understand why a place which does so much to attract and support the native flora and fauna would build something like this.

For 5 reais you can enjoy the tranquil gardens and scenery of this beautiful place. Plenty to see and do .my only grumble was as a English speaking person there was not enough information in English that i could read about the artifacts as it was mainly in Portuguese

We arrived super excited but we were already scared with the distance from the gateway to the visiting center. Upon arrival at the visiting centre we encountered a restaurant and the sign indicating the trails. We visited the listed places and went to look for the picinic area. The location is badly signaled and the staff did not know where it was and even directed us to the wrong place. The place is poorly ⁇ ined, there are cooler places in Brasilia to visit, do not waste your time.

I have already met the botanical gardens of RJ, SP Curtiba and the most beautiful of all, Manaus, the MUSA.
I was surprised when arriving at the place qd was informed that the visiting center was veryooo far from the Order. The Uber driver left us at the entrance and left. When they are by application, tell the driver to leave them in the visitor center, to arrive one must take the road of land.
Our lucky was a girl q was driving and who had just arrived. She drove us and left us at the visitor centre. She was going to the restaurant near the parking lot, called Too Good. When we arrived at such a visiting center, we saw the Japanese Jd, without any grace, super fallen!! The science center well below average, as well as the orchid. There was no sign, the local employee himself said there was nothing beautiful and grandiose there. Then we consulted a plate that signalled the park map, and we saw q there are some trails to be made, but we did not do it because we didn't have so much time, and there was no signalling of anything. We assumed these trails were long tbm, and we were afraid to walk without direction in the burning sun. People, the park needs golf carts for tourists' displacement. Everything is far away, not the same as the botanical gardens of other capitals, everything seemed desert. And such a Japanese JD is defiled, there is no more lake with regia victories!! Need signage, guides, golf carts, other activities proposals and etc. The science center have only as exhibition pailed animals, and few pictures is a horror!! Learn from the Botanical Jd of Manaus, q is a thousand times superior!! Get away from this place, pq vcs will pass mt nervous!

The huge botanic garden is really a slice of the savanna (called the "Cerrado") of the Brazilian Central Plateau. It is of great interest to scientists, botanists, gardeners etc, given the profusion and variety of local flora and fauna. There are clearly marked pathways for you to enjoy the environment. The small research station not far from the main entrance (at the end of QI 23 on the right) is informative and the staff are always willing to answer queries. They have some attractive publications too. Warning: it is not like any "Botanic Garden" you have ever seen, more of a wilderness, and therefore all the more interesting.

Nice Sunday afternoon stroll in the easy to reach Jardim Botânico in Brasilia. Educational tours, trails, a Japanese style garden, bilingual information/explanation signs. Quiet atmosphere. Nice restaurant in the park for coffee and lunch; pick nick facilities. Entry fee R$ 5 per person.

One can take a bus to the Botanical gardens so it takes about 30 mins from the centre . I have tendency to visit botanical gardens everywhere I go - and you see and learn so much. Initially you'll have to walk about 1.5-2 km before you reach civilisation , occasional car will pass you by. You'll get the map to help you navigate at the entrance and at the end you'll see quite a bit; They have orchidario to observe orchids, japanese gardens and 'left over' of the rainforest. You may run into schoolkids that are frequently brought here for excursion / day out - but they didn't bother me at all . Small and quiet caffe can be enjoyed and you 'll be surounded by beautiful flora. I've done this around the time of the World Cup June 2014 - so it is a later review, and for me it was a wonderful escape from all the craziness

The place is nice if you want to do a picknick or something, but if you're looking for a botanical garden with some variety of plants it is not the best place. Nice for a walk though.

3 opções com mesas boas para pique-nique:
1 - no bosque onde fica o bistrô
2 - no parquinho infantil
3 - no laguinho da casa de chá (uma mesa).
Nesses três lugares tem espaço para estender uma toalha no chão/grama.
