The view is beautiful especially with the kite surf show. A lot of people but much less if you walk until the opposite side. Very windy up there, mind your hats

To go there at the end of the day is gorgeous! The view is fantastic. The sunset is so special.
It's a nice walk from the beach to the dune.

It's a beautiful sunset view but you don't need to go there to enjoy that! You'll have to walk up the dune for a long distance, followed by thousands of people (looks like refugees on the desert), under a very strong wind blowing sand on you to the point of hurt the bare skin! Sometimes it becames impossible to even open the eyes! I've seen as beautiful sunsets at other places without being spanked by sand!

The most perfect spot to be and to love, to meet friends to drink to get married ( yes we so a couple getting married with their friends around them and it was magical). Life is magic and this place is the magician!

Perfect place to chill out and to enjoy the opulence of colors of the sky during sunset. Children can enjoy here running on top of the dune or up and down the steep dune and finally jump directly in the sea. A lovely place which you cannot miss out while staying in Jeri.

If you don't watch the sunset in the dune your experience in Jeri is not complete. As it was close to our hotel, we went there everyday. If you have time, I suggest to stay in the dune longer to watch the sky during the night - you might even see shooting stars!

To see the sun in all its glory, with the perfect stage, perfect wind, perfect sounds of nature and after a good day of leisure is what you get by going to this spot. It's a must see. Everyday, if possible. It's never boring.

First, Duna Por do Sol (Sunset Dune) is so close to the town; second, if the sun is out, you will be in the company of hundreds of others who climb this gently sloping dune for a chance to take some spectacular sunset photos. There are people selling drinks up and down the dune, so you can make a small party out of the event.

The color dance will touch you somehow you will never forget.
Try to do some sandboard at the dune, you can rent for one hour or half hour with kids in there, not expensive. Really fun.

Bom dia. Estive em Jeri no mês de Julho/2021. Um sol pra cada um. Como ainda estamos em tempo de restrições, as 22:00 horas os bares com música ao vivo encerravam as atividades. Penso que as pousadas mais distantes da praça central devem ser mais tranquilas com relação ao barulho. As chuvas são raras e quando ocorrem são sempre bem vindas e são passageiras.

dipende da dove vuoi raggiungerla..non è specificato. se sei a fortaleza puoi arrivare a Jeri in taxi, in bus o noleggiando una 4x4.
una volta al villaggio la duna la raggiungi facendo due passi..è sulla spiaggia!

Hola estoy viendo de viajar a Jericoacoara en julio con niños de 3, 12 y 16 que me recomiendan ? Como es el clima en esa fecha? Necesito algo q sea unos días de playa y mezclar con algún paseo ya q mi esposo no es amante del sol gracias

Hola Sara B. Estuve en Jeri en Julio de 2018, justamente en época de vacaciones de invierno. El clima estupendo ( hasta 32 ° durante el día y un poco más fresco por la noche) pero como los vientos son constantes las temperaturas resultan muy agradables. Viajé con hijos adolescentes y la pasamos fantástico. Ahora bien, si tu marido no es amante del sol, te digo que todas las actividades en la zona están basadas en agua y playa. Es un poco cansador el viaje desde Fortaleza (5 horas aproximadamente en traslado privado), por lo demás, super recomendable.

Grazie Zaira 1957 veramente gentile, mi sono annotata il tuo numero. Comunque sono convinta che ci voglia una guida locale. Sono in attesa di un preventivo da Brasil Planet, l'agenzia più menzionata anche qui per questo tipo di viaggio.

Un grazie particolare a Zaira1957 alla quale vorrei chiedere un'informazione.
Stiamo valutando di andare da Fortaleza a Sao Luis e rientrare poi a Fortaleza con volo interno. Naturalmente è d'obbligo la visita a Jericoacoara, la visita ai Lancois e lungo la costa. Di solito ci organizziamo da soli ma qui, sia per le strade, sia per i mezzi 4x4 ho letto su varie guida che è opportuno affidarsi ad autisti esperti. Credi che occorra organizzarsi dall'Italia o è possibile anche in loco senza prenotazione? Non so se ho inoltrato correttamente il messaggio ma non so come si contattano direttamente i membri di TripAdvisor... Grazie comunque!

Ciao,
credo sia necessario affidarsi a guide esperte e che conoscano soprattutto le tappe piu' belle e suggestive da proporvi perchè i paesaggi sono fantastici. Noi ci siamo organizzati dall'Italia perchè abbiamo avuto timore di perdere del tempo prezioso, ma probabilmente potete trovare anche sul posto , ad esempio negli stessi hotel dove alloggerete. Olá, não estive em Janeiro mas acredito que não seja uma época boa para visitar Jeri, o lugar é lindo em qualquer mês do ano, porém nos meses de março a junho é bem melhor. Estive no mês de maio e aproveitei bastante as lagoas e consegui preços mais em conta nos passeios e hotel. Acredito que vale mais a pena visitar Jeri fora do período da alta estação.

Buongiorno, noi siamo stati prelevati a Fortaleza da un fuoristrada messo a nostra disposizione dall'hotel di Jericoacoara presso il quale abbiamo poi dormito per tre notti. Il percorso è di circa 4/5 ore ed è molto molto bello. Consiglio assolutamente di farlo di giorno per ammirarne la bellezza. Ci siamo stati due volte e sempre di giorno. Buon viaggio! Resto a disposizione per qualsiasi altra info!

Boa noite a baixa temporada e muito boa opção devido as despesas ficarem mais em conta e mesmo assim na hora do por do sol aparece tanta gente na duna para ver o por do sol que ate assusta kkkķ ,imagina em alta temporada, mas na baixa temporada vc pode pegar alguns dias de chuva ,o que pode atrapalhar o passeio eu fui em março e graças a Deus so peguei 1 dia de chuva que atrapalhou todos os passei deste dia, mas os outros dias foi excelente e com muito sol.

Hola! Me gustaría visitar Jeri en Mayo 2018, pero quisiera combinarlo con otra ciudad; por lo que estuve viendo Fortaleza esta cerca pero no me termina de gustar. Alguien sabe que otro lugar puedo conocer cerca? O me recomiendan que SI haga Fortaleza?

Hola, mira la epoca que vas es una de las mejores por el clima. Yo viaje en Abril y en Febrero, y me quedo con Abril toda la vida.
Mira, Fortaleza tiene muchos paseos cerca, y desde la misma Fortleza podes contratar paseos a Jeri por 1/3/5 dias. Hay otors paseos tambien como Lagoina, que esta a 20 km de Fortaleza. Tienen razon cuando dicen que Fortaleza es mas de lo mismo, si es una ciudad con mar. Muy Insegura en algunos lugares despues de las 18 hs. Hay que tener cuidados como en cualquier ciudad grande del mundo.
Jeri es un capitulo aparte, a Jeri o lo amas o lo odias. Yo Lo Amo, hay muchos paseos para hacer desde Jeri, Camoncim, Mangue seco, Barrina, Lagoa do Paraiso. Jeri es para caminar por sus callecitas oscuras en las noches, (pero no tengas miedo, es muy segura). Ademas Jeri tiene una excelente gastronomia, y precios de todo tipo. Como en la mayoria de los lugares de Brasil, las porciones son para 2 personas, porque son muy abundantes. Cerca de Jeri esta Prea, que tiene unos bares muy lindos tambien. Ojo, en Jeri el Mar no es lo mas atractivo, porque es un mar para deportes acuaticos Windsurf, kitsurf... Pero jeri con sus lagunas es magia.
