This area is very popular. You have performers and locals hanging out. In the evenings on some nights they have live performances.

There are nice old buildings all around the square, and food stalls are selling cheap snacks. Nice for a short visit.

This square is located right in the historical district and is a great place to go in the evening, when it's packed with people, food stalls and people dancing the ever so popular samba - this is true Brazilean Bahia Culture at its best!
