This point is the tip of the Peninsula da Itapagipe and a quiet place. There is the Igreja e o Mosteiro de Nossa Senhora do Monte Serrat less visited than the well known Igreja de Bonfim up the hill. Here you have a great veiw over the Bay of All Saints

Nice building but just the landmark where the beach area begins. Small beach anyways but with less waves and closer restorants than the nearby Praia da Barra. Finally is up to you where to stay.

See one of the best sunsets at Salvador, near the sea and take lots of good pictures. You should also go to Ribeira after visiting Ponta de Humaita, it is near and amazing. Take care of yout belongings to not be stolen.

At least on the bank holiday weekend we visited it was overcrowded and dirty , not go there if you want a quiet beach

A nice place to watch the sunset, but there is nothing else around to do and if is in a dodgy are. We left after sunset so it was dark, and taxis would not stop for us as they did not want to stop in that area.

A place to chill out, they have drinks and food, there´s not too many people so it isn´t like the centre of the city. Beautiful view of Salvador-

While in Salvador, take a detour to Ponta de Humaita. It is a small corner in Salvador that faces the Bay with rustic but beautiful scenery !
