Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A few years ago we used to have bars and restaurants (tents) on the beach made of some kind of craft material. But all the tents were destroyed around 4-5 years ago to make the beaches better and "healthier" from the garbage and dirty that people used to leave around. However, there are still some people that rent chairs and tables (around R$20,00 the pacage with 01 table + 4 charis) for the day, sell food, coconut water, beers, roskas and water. Please bring your own trash bag and put your stuff before leaving the beach... :)
Well, the area is great and safe, the sand is good and clean and you can see surfers around and beautiful people too. The water is clean but you have to be carefull with the waves, it might be dangerous for those that don´t know how to swim.
It is close to Piatã, Terceira Ponte and Itapoã beaches. Close to Pituaçu Park (3-5min by bus) and Stela Mares beach (10min by bus). There are a supermarket, ATMs, gas station and small bars/restaurants close by on the street in front of the beach.

You will find lots of surfers and surfing school. During weekends is certainly crowded, soccer at the beach, families getting tan, surfers, too many people but it is an urban beach.
