Delightful! the Carybe collection is mostly projected but you have access to his entire oeuvre. Beautifully done!

Near to where we are staying, the fort was free entry on a festival day but would have paid to go in just to see the interactive museum pieces upstairs in the exhibition area. Interactive digital displays (all in Portuguese) with good review of the history. A hidden gem in Salvador, rest if the fort allows view of the lovely... More

It was constructed in the middle of a hill called Morro de Santo Antônio, at the right side of Porto da Barra beach, in the end of the XVI century. Besides being a historical attraction, this fort is an important center of leisure for both inhabitants and visitors.
