A must when in Praia do Forte. Great for children and adults. A great souvenir shop too with high quality stuff

This is a wonderful place to learn more about the local turtle population and the importance of it to the local economy and ecosystem. Many docents around to share facts and information. Not a big place and you see everything in about 90 minutes. A...More

A great initiative, in the 20 year existence has released millions of sea turtles to the Atlantic ocean. A case of sucess in the environmental protection history.

Projeto Tamar in Praia do Forte: a relevant , well organized initiative to sensibilize the people - expecially the young generation, but not only - for a nice future of the our world. I remember also the site for marine Turtle in Linosa (Italy)
