Very nice and calm beach. You can choose from sit and pay or bring all your stuff. The second choice is better, because the prices are crazy. This area, from Maceió to Recife is a great coral area. Warm water in a green sea. Fantastic view. Better than Caribe.

The beach at the end of April was warm. The waves and tides were strong, but it was fun to get smacked by the power of the sea.

We stayed at flat waterfront residence, expensive but good location. Good if you have many sharing the room. The beach is beautiful and windy. Try walking to west and you will see a nice wall of palm trees and have a view on the sand being carried along the shore. Don't forget sunscreen.

Very nice beach at 30 minutes from Maceio Airport. I've been there with my children and wife's family for a week. Everything was great. Good food, fantastic blue-turquoise ocean (Caribbean-like), warm water, nice whether and friendly people. Worth try.

Plain beach. Calm waves, but the tide rise quickly. Do not go too far toward the see. It may have some seaweed (wrack? dunno if this word is correct) on the coast, some people don't like it. But it's perfectly secure for bathing.

Ipioca is beautiful: quiet, barely anybody - almost like a private beach. My type of beach to go for a walk, kick the water, and enjoy for a few relaxing days. My husband and went for a walk in one of the mornings and one of the afternoons we were there. Although we heard about the lack of security and... More

THis was the highlight of our Trip. Lovely beach and awesome relaxing facilities, good restaurant with deck chairs and raised beds out front to relax on. Water was warm even though it was the middle of summer. Highly recomended

the beach is really beautiful and very calm. good for family with small children. A bit expense in my opinion for a average beach, at least comparing to others from the same coast. The good thing is that you can walk over 200 meters inside water and still stay safe touching the ground with your feet. The local people over... More
