This is very interesting historic fortress from where you have nice view over Vrbas river. But it isn't sufficiently utilized. And, most importantly, the area of the fortress itself and around it is quite unclean, that is, full of waste that has been there for...More

Easy place to go for a walk. A lot of teens hanging out there on a Sunday evening. You can see the river and also nice view to town. There is a restaurant with a great terrace inside the walls.

I loved the view I could get on top of the walls. As for the actual grounds, there's not much to see or do, but it's sure cool. Also not safe on the walls for children, so make sure to hold onto them. Not for...More

I really expected more from this place. Some restaoration works have been done, but there are much more needed. Ok for short walk, but don't expect much. Shame, since its great history and importance. It's clean, though, which is a step in the right direction.

This Roman-Turkish fort was started by the Romans and takes its present shape from the Turks. It is an iconic place in Banja Luka, being restored by EU funding, that is great for pictures, nice strolls on the grounds and even for coffee on the...More

I know that the renovation has just started (2012), but they still have a large work ahead of them to turn this into a serious tourist attraction. It is open for walking around and there is an café, but thats about it. Nothing to guide...More

Half the castle was closed, maybe due to restoration. It was dirty with litter and broken doors every where so u could go inside the castle caves just like that.
