We booked this trip in La Paz, which included flights as well as the tour. We did the Pampas tour 3D2N. We saw the majority of the animals on the brochure bar the elusive anaconda. Also, there was a 12ft Cayman who lived under the camps kitchen called Pepe... Didn't look like a Pepe but responded to the name. First... More

We did the 3D/2N Pampass your and were delighted with the service provided by fluvial. It started with the sales agent Teresa in the La Paz office. She was so helpful providing us so much information on not just the tour but La Paz, the Salt Flats, future buses, etc. She did not need to do all this extra stuff... More

I booked the three day/two night pampas tour with Fluvial Tours for 1450 bolivianos (including flight). Booked from La Paz and would go to Rurrenabaque by flight. Unfortunately, as Rurrenabaque has a very small airport, and by rain the landing track is too slippery, we had to wait a full day to hear that our flight got cancelled. Fortunately it... More

We have just returned from a 3D/2N Pampas tour with Fluvial Tours and had the most amazing time! Our guide was Juan Carlos (JC) and he really made our time truly wonderful. He was so friendly and knowledgeable with perfect English. We saw so many animals - a sloth, alligators, caiman, capybaras ( and baby capybaras!), an anaconda, cobra, green... More

This tour was much cheaper than others but frankly I do not know why this one was such a bargain as it was incredible!! Our guide - Gary - was so sweet and knowledgable. He was always jumping into the water and showing off, we loved it. The food was a full ten out of ten. Constantly delicious, and lots... More

Fluvial is the longest running tour company in Rurre and is rightfully recommended by Lonely Planet. It's also close to half the price of other places in town. Our guide, Gary, grew up in the jungle and has an endless knowledge of the landscape and wildlife. I felt very safe in his hands even with alligators only a few meters... More

Went on the 3 day, 2 night pampas tour with fluvial but overall I was unimpressed. Firstly, this trip could seriously just be one day, there is a lot of sitting in a boat doing the same thing every day with nothing new to see. The second day has a 2.5hr seista for this reason! You do get to see... More

The man in the office was rude. I was asking about the jungle tour and he didn't really have any interest, I had to ask a lot of questions to get any information out of him. He stated that it was complicated to arrange and advised me to go with another tour operator.

We just got back from the pampas. We did the 3-day tour with Fluvial and we had a great time! We booked the tour in the office at La Paz. The price was one of the cheapest in town (including flights) and the service was quick and straightforward. Our guide (Bismal) was very nice and doing a good job. He... More

My group had a great experience with this company, Luis was a good guide & knew what he was doing. Of course the accommodation is basic, you're in the middle of the jungle, but you have showers & mosquito nets & opportunity to charge your camera. It was uncomfortably hot while we were there, but again that's what you should... More
