Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An unforgettable experience, Pascual the manager is very prepared and told us the entire coffee preparation process from the plants and the different qualities to the roasting.
They offer the possibility of having lunch with a spectacular menu with dishes that have a touch of coffee.
They also organized a tour for us to a very interesting biological coca plantation.

We saw this activity option here on tripadvisor and decided to visit. We called ahead, and Rene the owner set us up with a tour of the small coffee plantation and roasting operation. The tour normally lasts three hours, during which you can pick beans, sort and separate them, wash them and set them out to dry, and even husk them and roast them yourself. It was educational for all of us.
After, his expert roaster Andres did a very enlightening coffee tasting with us.
Finally, we ate a good lunch of quinoa salad, llama filet, and coffee ice cream.
It was a very enjoyable visit, worthy of the 4 km drive out from coroico center, and certainly worthy of half a day.
Rene used to work in the area of development assistance, and his coffee business now responsibly supports local coffee farmers. And it's good coffee.
Highly recommended!

this is not a coffee farm per se. It does have all the elements but is just for the tourist trade. If you have never been on a coffee tour then this would work well for you. If not skip it. Also the tour is all in spanish so keep that in mind too.

This old lady manager was very rude on her treatment, they don't know how to handle tour packages. Turns out its not a real coffee farm and the coffee is just average nothing impressive. The cook and the lady who was supposed to give a tour were really nice tho, excellent treatment from them. They truly need to change that management or at least train that lady in common courtesy. There are so many better coffee places near Coroico or La Paz.

We visited the farm on a daytrip from la paz (just took a minibus from la paz to coroico) and it was an amazing experience! We learned a lot about coffee and its whole processing from picking to roasting! Furthermore it was really nice to see how much effort it takes to produce such an amazing coffee like they do at cafe munaipata (its no wonder they produce probably the best coffee of bolivia!).
I can highly recommend this tour to anybody who wants to know a bit more about the daily cup of coffee they drink in the morning!

We got a very nice welcome and did the coffee tour with a friendly guide that was really passionate about their product. The process is explained in great detail.
You can participate in every step from picking the berries to roasting the beans. With a coffee tasting at the end.
If you want -and you really should- stay for the lunch. We had 3 different dishes and they were all very tasty. The coffee icecream and espresso were the best we ever had.

It is a beautiful visit, highly recommended, in the profile it says that it is closed but it is not, they are still open and operating, when you go take the cappuccino tour where you can taste many coffees, very nice experience, I will drink coffee with meaning now.
