An all around wonderful experience! We are lifelong sport fishermen who have had the good fortune to fish in many places all over the world. We have always wanted to try for salmon in the beautiful San Juan Islands, and today was our first opportunity. We hit the jackpot with Brett Rosson of R&R Charters in Anacortes, WA!! Not only is Brett extremely knowledgeable, but he was so personable and fun to be with all afternoon! His boat and equipment had everything we could require and more, and it was one of the most comfortable excursions we've enjoyed. The stars aligned, the sun shined, and the fish were biting; it was a stellar day! We simply could not recommend him nor his charter company any higher, and we've fished with dozens to compare. Our catch was expertly cleaned and filleted when we reached the dock, too, and we will savor our king and silver salmon for many meals to come! Thanks for everything, Brett!

Captain Brett was outstanding giving us an adventure, a fishing trip, and sharing his experience and knowledge of King Salmon fishing on Puget Sound. As always we got to see a lot of the San Juan Islands and the wildlife that is there. I would Highly recommend the trip and plan on it again next summer. Doug in Spokane WA

Brett and Marcus were great guides! Brett’s instructions were concise and clear. They were extremely attentive and gave us helpful tips when they could see we needed some help. I estimate we caught about 50 fish in about 3 hours between the four of us, with 8 solid keepers! We also threw in some crab pot pulls for a bit extra. Totally worth it. Great guys, great afternoon! We highly recommend them!

AMAZING! This is our second trip fishing with them and both times were spot on. Great customer service! Getting a reservation was easy, very quick responses back when trying to figure out a day and time. The fishing was incredible and they even threw some Dungeness crab on at the end as a bonus. The captain (Brett) was great, answered all of our questions, very helpful. We will most certainly be going out again with
R & R Charters!

Had a great day out on the water with Nick as our Captain. Although the bite was a little slow Nick showed us a great time and was very knowledgeable and informative regarding the area. We managed to bring one King Salmon on board on the first day of the season and it was a beauty!

My wife and I had an excellent afternoon on the water with Capt Rick. He put us on the fish, and kept us there all afternoon. It got a bit windy later in the day so we hightailed for calmer waters west of Lopez Island. Finished the day in a postcard type setting. Many fish boated, a couple were keepers, some had to be released. All in all a great day on the water.

Opening day for Salmon Fishing and R&R fishing Charters did NOT disappoint. We took the afternoon charter and it took a little while for the fish to start biting. Captain Rick took care of us and found just the right spot where we ended up catching 5 huge King Salmon, however, 3 were keepers while 2 were released. We would definitely book again but for the morning charter. Patty booked our charter and took care of every detail we needed to cover....she is a true joy. Thank you R&R! We had an Epic day!!

Brett and Captain Nick gave us a great day on the water. Captain Nick shared his knowledge of the area and threw in a great "fish story" here and there. Team R&R makes you feel as though you have known them for years. It is like going out on a friend's boat. The boat was comfortable and smooth for the 2 members of our party in their 70's. I highly recommend Team R&R, and plan on doing a salmon trip with them in August. Thank you for great memories!

Everything about our experience was fantastic. Brett made the trip super special, from his flexibility, to cute gifts for the kids, teaching us to fish in a way that we all were able to retain. He didn’t settle, moving often to find the next best spot. The beauty, education, and adventure kept us engaged and never wanting the experience to end. At the end Brett cleaned out catch and sent us home with filets and “how to” cook it best.

Captain Brett was a great guide and was able to take us to some great areas during the Coho Salmon season. Everyone on the boat was able to bring home a fish. Looking forward to my next trip with Brett in the coming years.
