Many interesting items to see in the museum. The former military servicewoman who was our tour guide was very knowledgeable and enhanced my appreciation for what I was seeing. Do not miss the quotations on the rooftop.

It is an honor to be inducted into this memorial. When I took my mother here, she go emotional when she saw my name, picture and biography in the database. I've encouraged every female veteran to register herself, and to pass the word to other female veterans. It is an honor to have served this great nation. GO NAVY!!!!!

We visited this Memorial to see if there were any pictures of my Mother, who was a Wave in the Navy back in 1943. Not a lot of pictures of Navy...more Army and Air Force. We were, however, able to find her record and a picture of her as a recruit. For $25.00, we were able to get a copy... More

We came here while attending a funeral for a dear friend at Arlington National Cemetery. This memorial recognizes the important achievements of women to our military efforts throughout war of the United States. The role is expanding now to actual ground combat. For years women have been pilots, nurses, emergency workers, etc. Rosie the Rivitor also made a contribution during... More

The Women In Military Service for America Memorial has a very interesting museum associated with it that shows the history of women serving in military through personal stories. It's a small museum but it is worth the time to see the different ways women are serving and how they have gotten where they are today. As other reviews have noted,... More

The courage and dedication of many American women are on display here; but the interior architecture doesn't quite live up to expectations based on the grand exterior.

The women's memorial is one of the most wonderful memorials ever. I like that you can go in and find friends who you served with. The etchings in the glass have meaning and touched me. I Was able to be at the dedication of this years ago and it has improved over the years. This memorial touches heart.

Appropriate memorial for the women who served in so many capacities during combat. Take some quiet time and wander through this memorial.
