It is located on the second floor in the west wing of the James Madison Building. The building has paid parking garages on the east side and the west side. The facility had a staff of one when I was there. She was extremely helpful...More

This place is quaint but worth a stop. We were in an out in 45 minutes. The most popular of course is the mustang cutaways. Alexandria has no free parking we could find, so plan ahead to pay the meter!

Read about this museum in a magazine and decided to check it out. It's free. Small museum inside the us patent office dedicated to inventors and their inventions. Really interesting

There is parking in downtown Alexandria, Va. It is metered. But I would take the metro...very convenient.
