I went there for my first time skiing, and was able to find learn without too much difficulty. They do a great job at getting you on a lift quickly. It's really pretty on a clear day, and in the summer the Cecret trail is...More

Nothing like skiing at Alta. Utah has the best snow. Alta is a great ski resort. I highly recommend!

Alta is skier only (no snowboarding) and also a great summer hiking region. Great nature viewing and easy walks.

Best ski area in the world, regardless of ability. But, you need to go there to ski, not eat at 5* restaurants, or lodge at 5* resorts. I'll take Alta and St. Anton, Austria anytime.

Having been so used to skiing on wet ice and I the big crowds in the mid Atlantic area, this feels like heaven. On many slopes, you might not even see people around you at all. It's all fresh powders, untouched by others. You can...More

Follow the road all the way up, onto the dirt road till you hit the campgrounds at the end. Beautiful views and wildflowers. Peaceful and quiet. Wildlife viewing.

Most Incredible Wildflower fields that I've ever seen! If you have the time, the Albion Basin Campground is amazing and I loved the hike to Cecret Lake! Check out @mematsenphotography for more photos! Amazing!

Skiers only! Alta always makes the list for one of the top ski resorts in the US. That's because it is one of the best. The pucker factor can be very high if you choose to hike and drop into an insanely steep and narrow...More

Alta is for skiers and delivers amazing powder. The resort has terrain for all levels and always delivers on powder days. Little Cottonwood canyon can get crazy on a powder day so leave by 7am and head down by 3pm to beat the traffic.

Nothing for disabled in the massive parking lots which are an eyesore. However, the library there let me use their computer. Sandy, UT refused me.

The Collins and Sugarloaf lifts have safety bars as already noted. The Supreme lift is new and in all likelihood has safety bars. Off of Collins alone there is some of the best skiing in the world. You should have a fabulous... More
